How do I become a judge?

In Belgium, the only way is to pass the judiciary entrance examination. These examinations are organised by the High Council of Justice.

Candidates who have successfully passed a judiciary entrance examination and have, if applicable, completed their internship, do not automatically become judges. First, they must wait for a vacancy to arise. Once this vacancy has been published in the Belgian Official Journal, they have one month in which to submit their application.
